I am an American Muslim women and I have lived here most of my adult life. California is home to me. I can not imagine another place to call home. However, with the changing political environment, I have been feeling kind of uncomfortable and I was wondering if I am alone in my experience. I created this project for Inktober (October 2019) to see how other American Muslim women see their experiences living at this time. I interviewed these women and illustrated them. Enjoy!
