I am a Muslim, Pakistani American artist, and illustrator living in Los Angeles with my husband, three kids, and a sweet but sassy cat. Besides painting and illustrating, I love baking, biking, and crocheting.

In 2018 I finally launched a freelance design company, Sumayya Ansari Designs. It has been a fantastic journey with many highs and real lows but I learned so much! ​As an Illustrator, I have worked with clients like Hitachi, National Geographic for kids, and Heated Magazine among others. When I am not working with a client I make my stationery and work on various personal projects. You can see some of the past projects in my shop. I also sell my stationery and prints wholesale.
